Ascend Opens Their First PA Dispensary Location

Ascend Wellness has opened their first medical marijuana dispensary in Pennsylvania. The dispensary is located at 605 Davis St. in Scranton PA. 

Ascend moved into the PA medical marijuana program by acquiring the newly licensed clinical registrant for the program. Story of PA LLC was licensed as the 9th clinical registrant in the state in early March of 2022 and completed an equity transaction with Ascend Wellness in April. This provides Ascend with the licensing capabilities to open up to 6 dispensary locations across Pennsylvania and a cultivation facility that will see their Ozone flower brand launch in the state. Ascend is also partnered with the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine as their state mandated certified Academic Clinical Research Center for medical marijuana under the clinical registrant licensing designation.
