Latest Action: Failed With End of 2022 Session

Summary

Employers would be required to provide for reimbursement to a qualifying patient who obtains medical marijuana for certified medical use. This establishes that patients are eligible for a dollar-for-dollar reimbursement for a maximum monthly amount of $250.

Patients would be required to cover any amount more than $250 and be limited to a yearly maximum of $3,000. This would require insurers to establish a system to reimburse qualifying patients on at least a quarterly basis. This also allows for patients to be eligible for reimbursement of the fee to obtain and renew a medical marijuana card.

This bill would take effect 60 days after approval.
